Global Atlanta Works

Global Atlanta Works is a collaborative program designed to raise awareness about ethnic minority, immigrant and/or otherwise disengaged population groups in the Atlanta region by facilitating communication, providing resources and tools, identifying cultural links and building livable communities.  An Advisory Committee assists in the development of strategicy policy options by providing insights helpful for understanding the implications and meaning of the region's growing ethnic and racial communities, by evaluating future direction and sustainability of the program, and by making recommendations to the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) board.

While the program enhances the ARC public involvement process for special populations, it also provides to public, private, non-profit organizations and interested individuals targeted, reliable sources of facts, figures, narratives, examples and contact resources.  Global Atlanta Works is a tool to help enrich the region's cultural and economic vitality and is intended to benefit all residents in the Atlanta region.
