JapanFest is organized by The Japan-America Society of Georgia, The Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Georgia, and the Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta  to promote understanding between Japanese and Americans in the Southeast. 2010 marks the 150th anniversary of the first Japanese diplomatic mission to the United States. In commemoration of this event, the Consulate General of Japan's booth at JapanFest(will feature an exhibition of photographs from this historic voyage. http://www.japanfest.org/
