Community Conversations

Diversity Conversation in DeKalb County

The Community Conversations are a series of roundtable discussions designed to connect racial and ethnic community leaders with business, public, and elected officials. Community Conversations, which began in 2005, has held events in Cherokee, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry and Rockdale counties.

Each 'Conversation' is facilitated by Charles Krautler, director of the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), and hosted by key decision makers and thought leaders including county commission chairs, mayors, the heads of local chamber of commerce, Community Foundations, and superintendents of schools systems. Read meeting summaries.

Community Conversations are organized throughout the ten-county region and potentially in other counties beyond the metro area.  Contact us for information about Community Conversations in your county.
